Hmmm, you need your VIN, I would call around to a few diff dealers and ask. Someone should be able to tell you, check this site, among others and you can email them your VIN so you get the right one. If you find a fob I can get you the info to program it, I have a print out of how to program my 02 Hoe. Not sure if they are the same? But I can get the later years also, a few friends work at dealerships.

I never worried because the Jeep I replaced it with had 180k miles on it.

i just purchased a 02 Z71. It has 145k on it. The owner took extremely good care of it. I drove it a few times before I bought it. People can't believe it has that many miles. Not a thing wrong with mine (knock on wood) Should be known that things can go wrong with a truck with fewer miles on...

I used clear silicon. Can be taken out later on if need be.
