Michelin LTX/MS if you don't need an all terrain and BFG T/A KO if you do.
Or if you're on a budget I thought the Goodyear Wrangler RT/s was alright for the price on my first Tahoe.
A pretty good way of telling if your Z71 is an LT2 or LT3 is if it has the heated, memory, and power lumbar support. It it has that it is probably an LT3, if not an LT2.
I'm also having trouble with the rotors on my NBS, I'm at about the same mileage and I'm about to put on my second set. They must be thinner than the previous body style because they never gave me any problems. Getting hot rotors wet can also cause them to warp prematurely.
Oh theres no question about it I'm trading her after all that work. I've been looking at leftover 2008 and '09 Yukons this week. I know none of those are common problems except for the transmission seal. I consider myself pretty lucky that after 4 Tahoes this is the only one with problems.
I finally got my Tahoe back after two weeks of being at the stealership. Its an 08 with around 70k miles on her. I had it towed in because I was getting ENGINE POWER IS REDUCED, LOW OIL PRESSURE, and SERVICE BRAKES SOON on a trip from New Orleans to Atlanta. When they opened it up there was...
Mine has leaked from the hose under the rear bumper before, it's worth a check if you don't know where its coming from. Two little tubes come together and if they're not tight they leak.
They got mine two weeks ago and I live in a gated community :skep:. I hardly ever park outside but I did that night and living in what you would think would be a very safe neighborhood didn't lock the doors. They only got a credit card, a couple inexpensive Christmas gifts (like DVD's) and my...
It's been driven like 95% or more on the interstate at 70-80. The only thing that I could think that could possibly be bad for it that I do is drive for hundreds of miles at a time without stopping and I don't think that would do any harm. I've been reading up and I think the transmission is...
He didnt say but I would assume that they did. All he said was that the oil should be low considering the mileage of the truck and that it had been 7300 miles on the oil change (I go by the DIC on this truck) but it was far over the fill mark while the coolant was almost dry.
If it does come...
I just checked my voice mail and the service department left me a message saying the engine problems are coming from a failing oil pump and a possible bad head gasket because the coolant was very low while the oil level was very high. The lack of brake power is most likely coming from a bad...
The only thing I see at CB is that maroon SLT with 5100 miles. Looks perfect but the color isn't for me at all.
