So I need a new one and am going to do several small changes like plugs and wires along with the alternator; however which is the best OEM replacement alternator these days? Bosh? 140 AMP? 250 AMP?
Click on 'alternator' and I think 6 show up. I've got the original 100 amp, supposedly non-user-rebuilable, the others have support parts, but who rebuilds their own anymore. I've no plans for exotic hi-current electronics, and probably continue with the 100 amp, much cheaper...
