Got this from the Chevy Truck World Forum - what do you think?

Mmmmmm, 2-door goodness.:clapping: :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
I'll sell my first-born to pay for that if they decide to make it, lol. OK, maybe not.

I know I really seem like the bad guy on this column, but I am really not into it, I will admit it doesn't look as weird as I thought, but I just can't wrap my head around a 2 door Tahoe. Sorry!! :Chevy:

Ah, don't be sorry. It's all good, you can still have the 4-door, as I'm sure they will never stop making them. But if they decide to make that 2-door, I will find a way to buy a new one. Even if I have to live in it.

Wow that pic of the 2dr Tahoe isn't half as bad as I thought it would be. I could see that looking awesome with a lift. If those really did come out, I'd try so hard to get one.

How about a poll to bring back the removable top as well? Picture the above 2 door with a pop off lid!

Practical, not really an issue with me. I didn't buy my 2-door Tahoe for practicality. I bought it for fun, and because I like the way they look. In my opinion, a big 4x4 vehicle with a V8 is not practical, no matter how many doors it has. Practical would be something that gets 35 mpg and carries 7 or 8 people.

Practical yes, but no such thing exists.

I'm not sure if this has been answered, but is that pic of the 2dr Tahoe a photoshopped pic that someone made by themselves, or did GM release that as a concept image?

It's a photoshopped Suburban Z71 made to be a 2DR Tahoe. You can see it on the other side.

Ahh, now that I look through the windshield, I see what you mean. They did a really good job to not have me notice that so quickly.

You can also tell by looking at the rear tires. The driver side rear tire is much closer to the left front tire than the passenger side rear tire is to the right front tire.

No. GM isn't in a financial state where they can bring back a vehicle that was taken off of the market when they were positive because of low sales.
I know that GM made a tube chassis TBSS two door and it looked cool, and was fast (LS7). But that is the most that the 2drT will come.

I think a lot of the dealers would disagree with you. When I had my 2D Tahoe most of the dealers on the lot wanted to buy it.. They had list of people waiting for one to be traded in. Most I talked with said they have people everyday ask if they are going to bring back the two door. The fact that GM only makes 35,000 Corvettes every year and makes money on them tells me that even if the product numbers are low for the two door it would still make money. All the parts are already in production for the 4 door, The two door is just a shorter frame less back doors.. Were not talking about a redesign
