I put a tranny in my 99 tahoe, the other one broke the sun shell.. I think that the vss is bad because no speedo but my question is it will not shift out of first unless I manually shift it from first to 2 but will not shift into drive...Does the vss have anything to do with shifting?? Any help...

yes on the window, I have an early 99 with 4 inch superlift, only welding that had to be done was for the links from the dif support back to the trans crossmember... no joint vibration but there is alot of axle wrap even with the new springs... if your planning to run 35's you will have to go...
