2000 Hoe with 265,000 been Great car! Bought new Fall of 1999. Been extraordinary car. Finish great too cause was parked every day in parking garage (shady). Can't say enough about how few repairs it has required. No majors.

Have an oil leak around oil pan. Is this a DIY? Can the pan be removed and replaced without dismounting engine? OK, lets say I can't do it myself, wonder how much for local shop to do the job...

265000 miles and it still thuds. But no problem. 2000 Tahoe 265000 miles still does the thud occasionally at about same frequency it always has but nothing ever became of it. Seems to not shift down when slowing down and coming to a stop, then tries to start off in high gear. Just let off it...

Got a sticker on mine after coming back to parking lot. Said something about gas guzzler environment killer, fumes, yada yada or something. Probably some young folks hoping to save the world. Bless them... its cool!

Both fail at once. Replaced wiper motor, helped for 3 days. Took to shop, they replaced the wiper motor, worked for 5 days. But both defrost AND wiper stop working at the same time. Fuses OK. There is not common switch. Is there a common ground anywhere? No part of the defroster grid is damaged...

This may sound a bit dumb, but when you say "unclip" does that mean pry? So I put something under the panel an pry it out? I do mechanical work, but never felt comfortable dealing with body panels. What would I use to pry the panel? Thanks for your patience...

Have a sick wiper motor on liftgate. How do I remove the inside panel to get to it? I see a prior thread for this but the answer was not posted, it was eMailed. Please help... Thanks!
