Hello everyone. I am the original owner of a 2000 Tahoe 5.3 with 80,000 miles. I replaced the plugs and wires about 500 miles ago. The wires are the correct AC Delco 9748HH and the plugs are AC Delco 41-962. My question is that the original plugs were gapped at .060 and these replacement 41-962...

Since they now make the 3rd rear seat standard (which I think sucks), at least it is now a fold flat. Hate to pay for something like that 3rd row seat when I'll never use it. Used to be an option in 2000 and for several years after and now you're stuck with the pos....and of course you're paying...

No I'm absolutely not going to buy. I think that the Tahoe rear loading configuration is different with the 3rd row seat taken out. Haven't really checked but I believe that the rear loading area will not be flat like in our 2000. Hate to say it but we're going with another make. Their seats...

I can get the GM pump for $311 and another $156 for the install. I plan on having it done next week. I guess I agree with everyone...the pump is 11 yo and why take a chance. Thanks everyone.

Thankyou very much for your reply. I still haven't replaced the fuel pump because I'm just trying to get an idea of what is going on with it. At times, we can drive the Tahoe for 80 miles or short trips and I don't hear a thing coming from the fuel pump...and sometimes after making a few short...
