Maybe I just don't get it? Are the red lines around the doors, gas cap, and other body lines intentionally red? Or is that an affect of the paint?
Like I said, Maybe I just don't get it.
That's an awesome job. Thanks for posting that. I also am too damn cheap to pay for caps but want them in a bad way.
I aslo thought of going this route and molding in some aux. reverse lights or a small LED strip.
Either way yours look great.

For those that are reading this in hopes of avoiding this happening to them let me share my trick. I place blue painters tape over all the black plastic near where I will be waxing. Using my Porter CAble 7424 it is very easy to run over the edge of the plastic. By placing the blue painters...
Honestly more can be said to how the wax is applied than which one you use. I would start looking into a Porter Cable 7424 to apply the wax. There are some many great kits out there form Autogeek and others. The pre wax cleaning and cutting (polish, claybar) will make even lower end waxes...
I would attend to that ugly sub box. I am one that prefers function over form but you should clean that one up. Some vinyl or carpet would go a long way to making it look a lot better.

You know that Obama will probably make Suburbans (and large SUVs in general) illegal or tax us for owning them.
Not sure on the drop. Maybe it's the camera angle.

I also want to change the rear diff fluid but not sure if I need to pull the cover or if there is a drain. I guess I could just crawl under there and look. I was just hopins someone could link to a write up.
Performance MAFs have larger diameter and therefore they allow more air into the engine. They are Calibrated to calculate the proper air to fuel mixture based on the larger CFM.
Swapping the resistors in your stock MAF will either trick the engine to go lean or dump more fuel. Neither is...
for your own benifit do not refer to resistors as "performance".
When you say that your MAF is "bad" what exactly led you to this conclusion? Is it damaged? Did you have it diagnosed?
If not any of the above, have you cleaned it? It can be cleaned using spray cleaner specifically...
Thanks I'll fix that Typo.
I live here in North Texas so I think that I'm good as I live in an area that doesn't do smog tests.
So I need the Y-pipe?

There is a local guy trying to sell some long tube pacesetter headers PART # 70-2265 that are brand new. He only wants 125 for them. Here is my question:
Will these fit my 2003 4.8 without having to modify the rest of the exhaust?
Thanks,
Jon
It sounds like you should strip it off and start over. Washing with Dawn should do it. From what you described it sounds like it is just one area that is bad. If that is the case wash the entire truck with Dawn then clay bar the area that was bad (no reason to do the whole truck unless you...
yep, just swapped the bulbs back to regular ones and the cruise works fine. I suppose that the low voltage use makes the system think that the bulb is out.
everything is back to normal. how do you guys with with leds keep everything working?
