    Good Deal on a Yukon?

    a year and a half ago I paid 11,350 for an 02 LT ,, 4x4 . with 80k on on her . I would say 12k ain't to bad , but it is only 2wd .. if it was a 4x4 I would say thats a real good deal. . But for 2wd ,, A real good deal would be close to 10k .. fair 12 ,, bad anything over 12k ..

Affects of changing tire size on 2004 z71 tahoe

A 275 ??? Why ? 275 is 8.1 WIDE .. height 33.2 285 is 8.4 wide .. height 33.8 Unless the 275 is a good deal cheaper , which I doubt as it may be an odd ball size , get the 285 , which millions of Chevy truck owners run daily all over the country. The PCM is the brain of the engine...

Affects of changing tire size on 2004 z71 tahoe

Thats b.s ,, a 285 is not to wide for the rim,. Here look at the tire calculator , you are adding an inch of width to the tire. Big deal LOL... http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html Your only concern would be the speedo , it will read wrong , and a custom tune such as a wait4me would...

2001 Chevy Tahoe (Level, Tires, 4x4 vs Z71)

285 series tire is the safest , biggest tire to use. And as said above when you adjust the torsion bars YOU ARE Not altering there spring rates , all you are doing is setting there INDEX, which is the reason the adjustment exists in the first place. As far as to far of a crank , there are...

    05 hoe, transmission slipping

If u worked on any autos for 20 years you would know what a transmission slip is , what you are describing IS NOT A SLIP............. It is a delayed up shift , And I would bet at sometime in that trrucks life some owner reprogrammed the PCM which almost always alters shift points , deletes some...

    Anyone else using E85?

Lets not forget the answer is not using food or crops to make fuel ,,YA NEED A FOSSIL fuel to provide the heat that makes any crop fuel for god sakes. Fact the earth has cooled off in the last 12 months to levels prior to industrialization , what are we doing using food for fuel ? Or even...

    Anyone else using E85?

Well maybe you are not old enough to be buying food ? When steak is 8.99 a pound like it is here in my area it can prevent a famialy from enjoying one. Add to that ethanol is 20% less efficient then gas , add to that it takes 1/2 a gallon more oil to make a gallon of ethanol the it does to...

    05 hoe, transmission slipping

My 02 tahoe does that as well , BUT I have a tuned PCM. Slipping would mean the tranny is not outputting power , the internals are not connected solid to a gear and the engine revs and no power flows to the rear wheels. What you are stating is not slippage.

    Pro Comp Lift kit

I used the Pro comp , it is a tremendously well built kit , I also plow with the truck , and after a year my alignment even after plowing is still perfect. I chose it because it is a FULL DROP , which means the diff drops along with the suspension allowing better c.v angles and it allows you...
