got my lmc book out says #5 is cargo seal plt front,and 7 is cargo seal plate rear.check out page 74 they list aluminum ones engraved with chevy logo

how bout a swap to a 4l65e?heard they are upgraded from the 4l60e.heard they bolt right in.

could try lmc trucks too,they have them

i had truck few yrs ago that made that same kinda noise,few days later the belt tensioner flew apart!

i worked at a garage yrs ago and one of the techs didn't pump the brakes and took off like a bat out of hell and right through the garage door!the owner of the dealership just happened to be in the garage and he was so mad he was literaly jumping up and down mad!

yeah unfortuantely thats the problem buying higher mileage used stuff,i've had my hoe for bout 5 months it has 215000 miles,the 4x4 quit working couple weeks ago,just one of those things,mine has been in family since new,my wifes uncle babied it,the first little noise and whatever and he had it...

you have any links on the 4l65e swap?i understand it is a upgraded 4l60e transmission,is it basically a plug and play or do you have to swap harnesses,computers,etc?

yeah i knew i'd have to upgrade the rear end,i'll have to look into the 4l65e swap my hoe has 216000 miles on it.it runs like a champ just looking into the future.i know it won't last forever

well,i popped the back off the fob to see what battery was in it and one was out of its holder,i put back in and now i can stand at my back door and lock and unlock it.thats good enough for me

i have been trying to figure out what i want to do when my tahoe's motor finally goes,this is what i'm thinking please give me your suggestions.thinking of rebuilding the shortblock into a 383 or 388,eq cylinder heads,a step or two above stock cam and seeing if maybe i could get the stock intake...

so it should work farther away than the 2 ft it does now

my 96 hoe has keyless entry,is it normal to have to be on top of it with the key fob to get it to lock or unlock?is there a way to turn up the sensitivity on it?it is a factory add on system.any help would be great thanks
