Have been planning a torsion key front lift on a 02 Tahoe with upgrade to Bilstein 5100 shocks (#F4-BE5-C153-H1) as well as new longer/stiffer coils in the rear + 5100 shocks there as well.
It seems to me that with the lift the old front shock (OEM equivalent Bilstein #F4-BE5-6500-H1 at 11"...
Looking at increasing fuel capacity in an '02 Tahoe. Want 1000 miles between fills at max 60mph (can be a long way between open fuel stations in the arctic). With the stock tank get about 360. So I am assuming I will need about another 40-45 gallons.

Are the Z71 springs stiffer or do they ride higher than the stock ones? Are there aftermarket rear coils and front torsion bars that (with a levelling kit) will give me slightly higher load capacity with 750# or so on-board?

Have a ex-police 02 Tahoe and the DRL's are never on - bulbs work, fuses intact...
I suspect they were somehow disabled as part of option opackage so strobes could go there - but now I have the low beams on in every switch position (except high beam) and no DRL's.
Also, came with no fog...
