Littleblake...
has officially tucked his tail. I would assume his first name is Blake. One more little piece of information to provide my managers. Looking forward to getting some proposals from ya little Blake....
Interesting...
Congrats...but trust me, I make double what you little a$$ makes...and guess what?? I am the VP of a VERY large international O&G company based in Houston...we buy A LOT of what you claim you sell...I will be sure to advise my managers to be on the look out for a snot nosed...
A couple of questions for you....
1. What are you doing on a Tahoe forum?
2. What is your lease payment or
3. How much did your daddy pay for the Denali and all your p.i.m.p. mods or
4. What do you 'sell'
Has anyone actually measured (or found published) 0-60mph times for 3.41 and/or 3.73? I know that speed is not the deciding factor for big SUV's, but just tring to compare to some numbers of other SUV's being considered...thanks!
Nice looking...
but putting pimp daddy wheels on a Z71? I hope it's not 4 wheel drive......I would prefer 18" billet wheels with 'mudders' on a Z71, but NOBODY ever seems to to that anymore...but regardless, the truck looks cool...
I have gotten a couple quotes for $8000 off MSRP on a pretty loaded LT3 and LTZ (MSRP $50,450)...from my research, this is pretty good, yes?
Also, has anyone driven both a 3.42 and 3.73 and how is the performance between the two (realistically)? Is the 3.42 really that much slower than the...
Try this...
Cruise at around 20-25MPH and BARELY touch the gas...just BARELY give it a little more gas....see if you hear the 'whine' just for a split second....my '02 used to do it all the time and drove me crazy...
My 2001..
Took as long as it took to get through the Mr. Car Wash automated machine...about 5 minutes. I would assume the 2006 and newer models would take a little longer since they are bigger....hehhee...I finally disagree with those that say, "There are no dumb...
I had an 2001 Tahoe...
And liked it enough and was pretty much set on an '08 with the 6 speed....this is just another example of why American cars are ALWAYS a grade lower than foreign. Chevy is ALWAYS lagging behind when it comes to things that really matter. The 4 speed has ALWAYS been...
I agree...
I won't wait till May '08 either....and if there is not some type of MAJOR change between '07 and '08, I will be looking to get a GREAT deal on an '07 in November/December of this year or will be looking at other options....the lack of 6 speed tranny may be a deal breaker for me...
BS....
That sux.....not that I will not be strongly considering a new 2008 in December (or get a great deal on a 2007 now), but that sux that the 6 speed won't be on 2007 models. Chevy may have just lost a customer....everyone knows that 4 speed tranny is GARBAGE!!!
BTW, the above link is...
Yep...if all goes as planned.
I will be returning to the states in the middle of November (hopefully not much sooner) so I will be taking a couple weeks to find a car. I will not be in a bind as we still have my wife's car so I have some time...probably shoot for end of November (day after...
The problem will be....
That is the '08's do have the 6 speed auto, then I will be getting an '08 without question.....so my negotiating power may be reduced somewhat....
F*** that dealership....
Hate to say it, but Chevy's are a dime a dozen....I would rather wait or compromise a little on what I want before giving a dealer like that one red cent of my money....and after you buy one, make sure you let the dealer know they lost $40K....
Thanks...
So you got $8K off MSRP..that is what I am shooting for...I will start the negotiations at $10K off MSRP and if they don't want to talk, I will drive down the street to one of other 20 Chevy dealers in Houston...
