Just for the hell of it, did you check the fuse? Most aftermarket radios have a fuse behind them near the harness, that might've blown.

Should fit with no problem. Only thing I know is different is the lower front valance. The Z71 has round fogs while regular Tahoes have the square style.

I got one online for $44. I pulled the old one apart and saw no damage at all! No burned marks or moisture in any bulbs--weird. New one works fine tho.
