the seat and the arm rest of my Tahoe have been slowly breaking and tearing open. I am worried that the seat especially is going to tear much wider to the point where I can't sit on it anymore....
Is there anything that can be applied to those areas to keep it from tearing more? Like a super...
Hi
I would like to give my 03 Tahoe a little lift and came across this product:
http://www.carid.com/2003-chevy-tahoe-suspension-systems/readylift-lift-kit-54726451.html
Is this any good? How come the fron lift is 2.5 and the rear only 1 inch? Woulnd't that make it uneven?
Thanks
I am planning on lifting my 02 tahoe 4 inches. I don;t need the best lift kit out there but something decent. Any recommendations?

Hi,
After filling up my 03 Tahoe, the gas needle drops a quarter within 30 minutes of driving. The next quarter goes fairly quick as well and then it seems to slow down for the second half of the gas tank.
Any ideas what might be broken or wrong with this?
Also, what option do i have to make...
Hi,
I have a 2003 Tahoe. As with most SUVs/Trucks, the front end is sagging a little bit. I was told installing a leveling kit would take care of this. But was also told by another mechanic that they could try to adjust sway bars to bring it up to the same level as the rear end? Is that true...
The front seems to be sagging a little and i just want to bring the front level up to the rear level. What kind of leveling kit would you recommend for this? I saw a Forged Torsion Key Leveling Kit but it's over $200. Anything decent but cheaper out there?
Hi,
Just got a 2003 Tahoe and was wondering what my options are in regards to installing a satellite radio. Are there units that i can put in that replace the current radio/cd? or do i have to get one that is separate and mounts to the dashboard?
Any good place i could look at on the internet...
I've been looking at a lot of 03/04 Tahoes and noticed that a lot of them seem to have different clearance.
Some look like the back is slightly higher than the front. Is that normal?
I am now looking at a 2003 Tahoe LT. It has been in an accident in 2003 and it looks like this was fixed a year later:
Rear door trim panel replaced/repaired
Maintenance inspection completed
Inside air temperature sensor replaced
Transfer module/computer reprogrammed
Some other records...
Hi,
I am looking to buy my first Tahoe.
I found one locally, 2005 Tahoe LT with 113393 miles on it. How do Tahoes hold up? Do they have a lot of issues when they get over 100k miles? Or is it still a pretty save SUV to buy with that kind of mileage?
Thanks for you input!
