check the boots in the doors where they fold. i had this problem till they stoped working in my 05 dodge ram. rear doors in the boot that connects to the Cpillar had three wires broke. replaced and they were brand new. its wierd it happened on rear doors because they never get used.
could be the Lock pick or a ground issue. there are a set of grounds on the firewall that will came loose on my 07 LTZ and started to freak out off and on stuff and it was just loose grounds
well you know they are working. just turn them off. its 15* here and they get hot and you have to manually turn them off or they will go off when vehicle is off. i remember when i got my tahoe in august and it was around 100*F outside and they still done the same as you described, they got hot...
rubber grommets and my electrical drill knockouts. ive seen several fed/gov tahoes that had radios mounted on pass side of center counsel down by leg portion
hopefully you checked your box for that cute little girl before you sold it. she was hiding pretty good in there. that was a nice looking set up there you had, any chance on pictures of the new set up you got?
definitaly check into it more. in my 07 i got a water stain in the headliner in the rear passenger corner, its the size of a king sized pillow. i believe its the weather seal. still need to take it in to get fixed.
cant wait for the pictures. like seeing peoples projects to get other ideas going. no system in mine yet. later down the road there will be some 10's for movies on the long road trips.
i would have to say by looking at AIT and AFR being lower than the Airraid id go with Volant, its just one point lower in torque. on paper its a larger number but you wont notice it in the pedal. Volant CAI did change the power curve to a higher RPM to reach their numbers
