What would be a good lowering kit to get with 24's? I still would like to keep as much as the smooth ride as possible and not lose my towing options. This is new to me so any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, what would this roughly cost to buy and install?
Thanks guys

Are you sure it's the speaker? Reason I ask is because my 10 Tahoe was doing the same thing. I ignored it for a while but it got worse and it ended up being the dash getting cracked and it spread towards the middle speaker. When I took it in for some other service I asked the tech about it and...
Dumb question as I've never had to do this....
What is the weight limit on the roof rack? Going on a trip and thinking of putting luggage up there. I've never used the roof rack and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on this. I was not planning on using a luggage carrier...
milage
Thanks, I will take that into consideration. I was going on your high teens, low twenties statement which would be 5 extra MPG for me since I'm only getting 15 MPG right now.
evo
Thanks so much for the info, I will take that into account! I'm also look into the benifits of the gas milage increase. I figured if I can get 5 miles extra per gallon as you stated from the high teens to low 20's the evo pays for itself around 2k extra miles from my normal driving. are you...
Instructions-Thanks
Thanks for the link! This does answer a lot of questions. It is easy, my friend has a Ford F-250 and his edge was a lot more intrusive. This is pretty simple, just removing a couple of plastic parts to run cable is not bad. One thing I read was that you can put the computer...
Thanks
Being that I'm a systems administrator that will be easy for me. It's installing it on the Tahoe that I'm wondering about. I'm sure I'm sounding dumb here but where about's is the component where the evo hooks up to the truck? Your help is appreciated.
Thanks!
installing Edge chip
I'm thinking about buying this through gossman but I'm a little concerned about the installation. I know you said that it was easy, but can you post the instructions if possible? If anyone knows where I can pull it off the web please post as well as I've been trying to pull...
Install is very easy. There is nothing to do other than unplugging the connection to the sat and plugging it into the harness. The hardest thing is getting your hands behind the golve box to stick the adapter and harness in the small area where the sat is mounted. It took me about 20 min. to...
Here is what I've discovered as of today (I just installed it yesterday).
1. Yes, you're correct on this. It does suck by I've been getting around by using playlist and putting it in shuffle mode. If I don't want to hear that song I just foward to the next one from the display or steering...
I just installed the IPOD adapter made from peripheral and found that you can control the IPOD though the navigation display. The only limitation that I'm seeing is that it can only display 25 categories. It states that it's a limitation to the factory Nav system. But you have control of the...
I talked to a Car Audio place here in Houston that wanted to charge me 300.00 for the adapter and 75 for installation. He told me that it can do all of that. Once I install it I'll let you know. Very easy install if Tahoe has Nav and Sat as the Sat tuner is in the glove box.
PXDP3 from peripheral
Have you looked into this option? From what I have read online it does all of that. I just bought this because it was the easiest to install if the Thaoe had navigation and Sat radio.
