Just tested the MAP sensor circuit. PCM voltage is 4.7v and drops as I apply vacuum to the sensor port. However, I am supposed to be getting 10-12v when testing the PCM ground but only get 9.4v.

Truck starts great in the morning. When I restart later, the engine idles a bit rough but if I put her in gear she will start to misfire terribly and kick. She will die at stoplights or other inconvenient...
G'Day!
Can answer if the green o-rings are supposed to replace the aluminum washers with the black rubber core? I ask for a couple reasons. First, everywhere I look, the green o-rings are plentiful while the others have to be special ordered. Secondly, I am having a hell of a time getting my...
Got everything assembled but lost two injector clips (ping!). Tahoe started up and ran great but need to replace one of the injectors' seals.
After all the expectation of having to tear the engine down and buy a cam/lifter kit...having to buy just the seals for an injector and a couple of...
Just tried this trick and it worked to free the lifter. Going to bypass the fuel management system and leave it in V8 mode.

Now to put it all back together. Hopefully there will be spark and Big Blue will be up and running again.

Update------
Since I put in the Lucas, the oil pressure rose some and stabilized, but once the engine warms up, the pressure seems to be about 15-25 psi (depending on RPM)
Gonna do the engine flush thing come payday and see what happens.
A few months ago I experienced the clogged oil pressure sensor problem on my '07 Tahoe LTZ but it was a relatively inexpensive repair (I had to outsource troubleshooting due to time constraints). Just had the transmission replaced and my truck returned yesterday. As I was driving the 20 min...
There have been some electrical problems on my Tahoe which have all occurred within a very short period of time. The tire sensors started going out, an O2 sensor failed, the washer pumps stopped, the info display dimmed out, and the driver's seat seem to be trickling heat on long trips even with...
Just bought a super clean and great running truck but noticed later on that the horns do not work. Neither key fob nor steering button works so I checked fuse... which was blown. New fuse installed but still no horns. I have not been able to find any information on where in the world the horn...
