have a 01 hoe with a po446 code any help anyone?? thanks

I am willing to bet it is your "vent valve". I had a 99 Sierra before my hoe and had the same code. Changed out the vent valve and it fixed the problem. I have no idea where the valve is on the Hoes though. On my sierra it was under the truck right between the cab and the bed.
I have also heard that a bad gas cap or filling the truck up with it running will throw a P0446.

i have the same exact code... i was told to replace the solenoid, it didnt help to much. im still looking for ways to fix it.
