I can't keep my positve battery cable tight. It works loose, then while i am cruising down the interstate, the engine cut off then on, loose all electric for a split second. I crank it back down and it's fine for a couple of weeks. Neither the batt terminal or cable connector are stripped out. I hate to buy a new batt and cable, but what the hell? I crank taht damnt hing down tight!

is it a side terminal or top post? You might want to try some loctite thread lock on your thread that might help out a bit.

Side terminal. I thought about loctite, but wasn't sure since it's a electrical connection. Wasn't sure if loctite would hinder the connection.
