Have an o5 Tahoe with the dual climate control system. The blower started working intermittently and has now stopped all together. Checked the fuses, all good. Pulled out the blower motor and hooked it to a battery and it runs fine. Where is the blower motor resistor located? Is there anything else it could be that's a simple (cheap) fix?

You may want to check with your dealer for recalls, I am not sure if it extends to 05 or not but they had issues in the past with the actual wiring harness plug that plugs into the blower motor itself not being able to handle the voltage and burning out. Other than that, it COULD be the climate control unit in the dash, take a volt meter with "needle" probes and test the current at the plug at the blower motor to ensure that you are getting a signal to the blower motor. FI not, then the control unit itself may be faulty.
