08 Tahoe Navigation question

I have a male voice and would like to know if we have options, female voice.
I can't find how to change it in my manual. Can it be changed?
Has anyone found a new feature that is neat and would like to share?

No on different voice. It's not a Garmin. The 2009 DVD allows limited scrolling while driving and the clock numbers are bigger.

I heard you can change it. It all has to do with the DVD.

Also, do you have to keep the DVD in the whole time using the new nav in the 08s?
Like when you install it, it stays in there right? Cause there are two diff slots for whatever is supposed to go back there...
