13 Tahoe. 2nd row captains chair issue

Just bought a 13 Tahoe a month ago and started having an issue with the 2nd row drivers side captains chair. I folded it forward and then flipped it forward to make more room for some stuff I was hauling to donate. When i tried to put the seat back up in normal position, the back of the seat didn't stop in the normal position and folds all the way back like a recliner. It doesn't stop in the upright position, and makes a pop sound. Any ideas? Thanks
