2001-2005 Refueling Problem

Does anyone have issues with refueling their Tahoe.

When I start refueling the gas handle clicks like the gas tank is full, when
I look at how much I've put its only been $1.05, it takes me 20mins to put $15.00 of gas. It clicks like every .55cents.

PLEASE HELP A TAHOE BROTHER OUT.

Yeah their is a bulletin for it. You have a faulty evap vent valve that needs to be addressed. Search the google for it; I come across these threads and repairs on a regular basis. It's a very common issue on this model truck. Like everyday, common. It will be easy for you to dig up some info from 30 mins of internet search.

I mean, there are a few other things to check for like blockage from charcoal canister and whatnot. Just have to go through the checklist but you will learn more about it as you proceed. There is also an updated vent line near the fuel tank which you will also have to search for.
