2004 Tahoe Bose Speaker Replacement

I need to replace the front speakers in my 2004 tahoe z71. It has Bose with OnStar. Do I need to buy 2 ohm speakers or can I buy 4 ohm speakers.

I know all about the debate that the bose system sucks and I should replace the head unit, amp, yada, yada. Right now my drivers side speaker is blown. Do I need 2 ohm and any recommendations for replacement speakers.

Did you ever find an answer? I was under the impression they were 2 ohm, but no positive proof yet.
