Ok, I have a 2011 Tahoe PPV that I have lost my Running Lights and License Plate light. I have replaced bulbs, and checked all the fuses.

There is a relay under the hood that I unplugged and used a jumper wire and the running lights immediately came on. I checked the relay and it was good so my problem is before that.

I ordered another Headlight switch thinking that might be the problem, and still no running lights.

Searching here I have found a few similiar cases, but they were all on older Tahoe's. Some people swapped out a wire harness in the back of the truck and it fixed the problem, but I didn't see a separate harness when I was under the truck.

I'm not sure if there is another module that I am missing (DRL module maybe?) that maybe bad, or if I have some mystery wiring issues.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! I'm trying to avoid a nice hourly troubleshooting rate from the dealership!

Maybe this might help. Found this online about the PPV package.

Exterior Lamp Controls
The following exterior lighting
features apply to vehicles first sold
in the United States.
The vehicle has Daytime Running
Lamps (DRL) and an Automatic
Headlamp System (AHS). The DRL
and AHS can be turned to OFF with
the headlamp switch when the
transmission is in P (Park) and the
engine is at idle. If the engine is not
turned off, the DRL and AHS will
remain OFF when the transmission
is placed in gear. The vehicle may
be driven with the lamps off for one
ignition cycle.
The vehicle may have been built
with SEO 9G8, DRL AND AHS
DISABLE. This feature turns off
DRL and AHS and requires manual
control of the exterior lighting. See
your dealer to restore the DRL and
AHS to normal operation.
For vehicles first sold in Canada,
the DRL and AHS can be turned off
if the transmission is in P (Park).
See the owner's manual for more
information.
Special Features
The following standard features are
disabled in the Police Package and
Special Service Package.
. Entry Lighting and Exit Lighting
. Remote Keyless Entry Feedback
(Horn Beep) and (Lamps Flash)
Automatic Door Locking is standard.
If you need it disabled, see your
dealer.
