2017 LT LED running lamps

Hello All. Newbie here, and this is probably a dumb question. I've got a '17 LT and I can't figure out how the LED running lamps work. I pass other Tahoes on the road, and they all seem to have the LED lamps on. Is everybody just turning the parking lights on all the time? Are the LEDs actually NOT part of the daytime running lamps? Any insight is appreciated and welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Only the LTZ [or maybe now for 2017 the Premier] has the Led running rights..The LT like mine and yours just have the low voltage headlight for running lights.

I see a lot of LT Tahoes/Suburbans with the LEDs as running lights that do not have Fog lights, are these drivers all driving with the parking lights on or are they Premier models? and how can you tell it is a Premier, is it on the truck somewhere?
