97 Tahoe Stalling

I just bought a 97 Tahoe it is a 5.7L V8 with 185K on the ODO. I'm pretty sure it is the original Engine and Transmission. The problem I am having is that when I drive to a location it will sometimes stall when I shift from drive to park.

I have had the fuel system cleaned recently but, like I said I just purchased this vehicle so I'm going through cleaning and repairing as I find things.

Any ideas would be great.

Engine light on? if so get a code reader for your OBDII computer and scan it.

Try checking your spark plugs, could be fowled and not helping the flame catch. Could also be a wiring issue.
