Went to start my 2003 Tahoe Z71. Turned key, cranked but didnt start. Battery not charging cam on console and low fuel. Took battery off and slow charged till complete charge. Put battery back and added two gallons gas. Tried to start.
Same problem. Took battery to get checked and took starter to get checked, two places. Starter good, battery replace. Replace battery so I bought new 78 series 800 cold cranking amps. Tried again, same result.
After three or four attempts to start, checked battery and it had severly drained. I have slow charged over nite to full charge. Im not going to hook up battery for 12 hours ti make sure new battery is holding charge. Tomoro I will hook back up battery but not turn on car alarm. Leave it overnite. Check Sunday morning to see if the battery drains.
If it does that rules out car alarm issue.
Thats were im at.
Any one ever had these symptoms ir might kno my next step.
Thanks for your help.
