I currently have a 2011 Tahoe that I pull behind my Motor Coach, I would like to purchase a new 2016 Tahoe but as opposed to my 2011 that I can put into 4wd neutral and lock the column, the 2016 requires me to leave the key turned on and disconnect the negative battery cable. Is there anyway to over-ride this feature, for if not I will not purchase a new 2016? Thanks

I had the same issue with my H2. I ended up installing a round 6 pin adaptor to my universal 7 pin on the motor home. That gives you a power lead to the dinghy from the motor home, preventing the battery from being discharged on the dinghy when towing.
I have a 2015 Tahoe, and intend to set it up.

I'm not sure yet if the steering or power brakes are electric, if so the above will not work, and I'll just install a Perko switch to easily disconnect my battery.
