So ive been thinking about it for a while now and i think im going to go through with it. im probably going to pick up a pair of FI Q 18" or the DD 3518. the problem with the DD is they are a little overrated for my amp... :/ im kinda wondering if its worth it ditching my l7s? i want it louder haha, dont get me wrong i can only play my l7s for about a minute or 2 without my friends wanting to turn it down :gy:

Im wanting some opinions on this.

Also the 2 12" are forsale :shhh:

im not totally sure y but i kinda dont want the l7s anymore haha, they are great subs, dont get me wrong. i think 18s would be soo sick tho. the other reason i kinda want to get rid of them is the fact with people being like o u only got 2 12s haha

my ears dont bleed yet either

HAHA I'm getting old. My g/fs bro got 1 15 L7 in his Charger, s***s loud. I think I'm just gonna put 10" L7 in the back, that'll be good enough for me. Good luck to ya. hope ya find what you want.

the 18s is probably more hype than anything to me, and i figured they would be louder with more surface area and power.

just buy my 2 12s :) you wont regret it haha

how much room you willing to give up, and power do you have, and amperage, to feed this power?

two L7 12's in the right box, can get loud....maybe lets hear your enclosure, etc...

Look into DC audio level 3s.. I ran 4 15s off a KX2500.1 in 14.4 cuft tuned to 33hz. Awesome subs for a sweeet price. and GREAT customer service.

The Fi Q is a sound quality oriented driver. The BL is in the middle between daily and SPL use. The BTL is your SPL monster or you can tailor it for daily use.

1000 RMS to the BL is good but I wouldn't exceed 1500 on it.

email him... rusty the owner is a rad dude. everytime i emailed him his response was very quick!!
As far as the Qs go I liked the sound of my DCs better. I ran an 18" Q of 1200watts. I liked it but i like dc even more

2 12" L7 crack if you have them hooked up right...to be honest more sub is just for the hell of it, hope your protecting your electrical system too!! strong CCA on battery, 20 maybe 40 farad cap, appropriate wires, and if your gonna go more i suggest a H/O alternator!! it may not seem damaging but imagine breathing through a McDonalds straw the rest of your life..what a strain!!

im pretty sure my electrical is fine for now. the Zues is running off of 4ga and the brutus has a run of 1/0 and the cap is 8 farad. the big 3 is all done with 1/0 too. and for the battery its a yellow top optima. i bearly get dim with the L7s. I may build another box for them, but 18s i think would be better
