Ok I was wondering if someone can help me out with my factory navigation system. I've had my Tahoe for about three weeks and I never really noticed it but when I am using my navigation system it will list all the places I've been before. I leave my house in the morning and it will tell me where I drove the day before. It lists the route that I took by small torqouise color circles and those circles are added when I am going somewhere. Is there a way to disable this feature? I never noticed it until now and I can't find anything in the service manual that tells me that I can disable this. I don't rellay want my wife to know where I've been.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

HEY A$$HOLES I wouldn't have not ask the question if I was going to get made fun of. I'm sorry if I can't spell properly like Getwired and Rollin Thunder.

I just wanted some simple help not humiliation over one mispelled word.

Hey Bubba - I think you misinterpreted my laughing. I couldn't care less how you spell! I thought what you said was funny! If I picked apart everyone's spelling, I'd be at 10,000 posts (including my own typos). Lighten up!!! I'm sure someone here will know how to do what you're asking. :grouphug:

It's a line from a movie.

Point is, lighten up. No one was making fun of you.

And by the way: Welcome reddoor123. And since no one's thanked you yet for answering the OP's question -- "thanks"! I never knew about that feature either. Cool, man!

Yes, Thank you reddoor123.

And Getwired sorry for lashing at you like that. You seem like a cool guy with all the tips you give here.

No problem; I've got thick skin, and stuff like that doesn't really bother me a whole lot. You'll find that most of us here are pretty cool, and we all were probably drawn here to learn and contribute, and joke around. As they say, "It's all good". ;)

on/off road feature is for when you go 4 wheeling and you need to get back where you started from, but i hope know one goes off roading in the 50k + Tahoe.

What happens when you turn it back on? If it has a memory, she might still see all the titty bar locations. :smilielol: :smilielol:

Nah, just delete them from the pre-sets. The dealer must've preprogrammed all that crap anyway, right? "Honey, what are all these red push-pin thingies on the map doohickey?" :D
