FIrst oil change today. What a mess. The oil was hot and watery. When I let the plug go, the stream shot farther out than I estimated and all over the driveway. I said a few words on that one! :cuss: Then as the stream slowed, the pan had to be repositioned to catch the stream. It has to be constantly monitored. It's obvious that what's required is right angle plug so it will shoot downward and not sideways. I could drain 3 gallons from my diesel pickup without a drop on the driveway using an oil valve, and hose. Can anyone tell me the size of the plug threads? I'll start working on something. The good thing is there's now Mobil 1 in the pan, and I'm good for at least 7000 according to the oil life monitor. Thanks!
