I wanted to post something in this forum.

Do you want Chevy to kill the Trailblazer or do you want them to update to have "mini-Tahoe" styling? I think that they should atleast update and not leave the segment. Then when the GMT700 platform (NG Colorado, H3 platform) comes out they can make an off-road Colorado SUV called the TB.

I'm betting that before the 20110 model year Chevy gets a Lambda version of their own and that will be the end of the TB.

Hopefully the General will see fit to place a 5.3 V8 in that puppy beforehand or since it's transverse, a Northstar.

I heard a rumor that GM designed the Chevy Lambda with current TB owners in thought.

Yeah, but will it get a V8 option?

Traverse will be a hit, especially if it gets a V8 option that's purportedly in the works for 2009 Lambas. I drove a loaded Buick Enclave CXL when they first hit the lots, and MAN I love the looks and feel of that thing, BUT it is definitely under-powered. A V8 (and 19-20" wheel options) would seal the deal for me for my next vehicle... The Denali is really "my wife's vehicle" ;).

sadly gm killed the v-8 for the lambdas. due to that stupid fuel economy bill. for 09 there going from 275 hp v-6 to a whopping 284 hp direct injection v-6, not sure if thats gunna get much more oomph. the buick enclave is definatly the most luxurious lambda out there. the acadia is sporty, and the outlook is well a useless vehicle IMO. Gm is wasteing time building the outlook when they average about 128 days on the lot and the acadia and enclave are onnly 14 at most.

i really like the stock 19's on the enclave, very clean and elegent looking and fit that vehicle very well.

the traverse is supposed to start at only 23k, so im sure that will out sell all three lambdas put together. but it will still only have the v-6 used in the CTS with missing hp (only 283).

I've been trying to find a black on black awd ss lately, credit is better and I'm considering an SS or grand cherokee srt8 to replace the denali. I really hate the stock trailblazers but the ss is butter, I'll have to see how they drive and handle the colorado snow.

Replace your Denali w/ a TBSS? Oh my... I can only imagine what you'd do to it.

Lots of nitrous and a tranny, not sure if I can drive such a small truck but I'm gonna try finding one to test drive. GM financing is super cheap right now and I could get one for just over 30k.

Don't think I could roll one, too much plastic and my 2002 yukon was 19k. Might just buy an old body scsb c1500 and lay it out on some clean stock wheels, truck payments suck.

that's the best idea I've heard yet. I was going to cash out an ecsb 94-98 truck and do the same, but I'm saving for a house now so every spare penny goes to the house fund.
