i would take hiliry over obama any day of the week. i kinda like what she has to say, I JUST DONT LIKE HER. but i hate what obama has to say and i hate him. so if a dem is gunna be president it damn well better be hiliry. im damn proud to be american, and if obama does not want to take that seriously then i dont want him, refusing to look at the flag, and not raise his hand over his heart during the pledge, cuts it for me. but im damn proud to be american, i only have on car that is not american and thats a benz but i only keep that out of sentimental value.

but of course im voteing for McCain.

Bush has already put our country out of business. He drove us right into the ground just like every other company he was put in charge of. We need someone that will tell these oil companies the way it is and regulate their trade, it seems that is the only one without regulations. People are losing their houses and having to chose between eating and filling their tank. Meanwhile these oil companies are recording record profits. I probably won't vote because it doesn't matter who wins anyways. They are all in it for the money, and the kick backs from their buddies in the upper echelon of society. Our government is so screwed up and we cannot do anything about it. Do you think it matters who wins? I Bomba, the lesbian, or the older newer Bush. Seriously we are screwed, we should probably get out before they close the borders and keep us in.

When is the country going to be ready then? McCain is for a national concealed carry permit but I'd rather see obama elected so we stop looking like such a$$holes. Don't read into the hype, just take a look at his policies that haven't been led askew by the media and you can tell he's a genuine guy. Too many redneck asshats are gonna ruin this beautiful country, I'd rather elect someone who loves this nation and wants to get past this sh*tstorm thats been spinning toward chaos and get us back on the right track.

obama is in it for other reasons, i highly doubt he loves this nation. why did he refuse to say the pledge?? why did he refuse to look at the american flag??? why did he refuse to raise his right hand???? during the pledge he just stood there like a 5 year old looking at his toes.

fine, call me raceiest, but he is the last person i would vote for, im a huge republican so im most likely going to vote for McCain, but if a dem has to win, i hope its hiliry.

problem is a republican is going to help our economy, but just in time for a dem to come in and say he fixed it. but im not much of a politics debator. im gunna go for a swim and then take the boat out.

I am by no means a racist but I can almost guarantee that if Hillary or Obama are elected they wouldn't live for an additional 6 months. This country is full of crazy people (the ones that voted for Bush the second time) I didn't know about the National CCW that would be awesome, but I bet it would be nearly impossible to get.

while I agree, times change, and we now have the possability of the first woman, and or African American. But to have one in the highest power doesn't bother me. Will it add more killings to the street, not like we don't have that already.
But yes, there are freaks, but honestly, they wouldn't have more death threats than what we have in there now. :)

well so do I, but I also have learned not to always believe what the press tells me.
They can get one small moment and blow it out of proportion.

McCain can't remember whom we are fighting over there, without his aide telling him during a speech.
Obama has a minister whom shouldn't be preaching.
Hillary brings up assain word during interview, that should NEVER come up.

Chuck Liddell for President.

View from my office!! Not windy right now but you can still see it. God forbid Obama having a flag in his office while he is running this country.

How I felt this morning!!

i love how everyone belives what they read on the internet and see on Fox news. how many off you wear an American flag lapel pin everyday? and i have a Che Guevera t-shirt, does that make me a terrorist? maybe i admire the fact that he led a rebellion against a screwed up govt. everyone acts like the govt is looking out for everyones interests when its only looking out for a select few. and im voting Dem. because i am poor.

since its warm i have a shirt, but EVERY SINGLE ONE of my jackets has an american flag stitched right on the front. On the boat i fly two and only two flags, The american and Confederate flag. every car except the kon since i have not had a chance to get one has an american flag sticker. o yea and a marine corps sticker. plus i fly a flag every day, take it down when it rains. but other than that its up (dont worry has a light) so i can proudly say i wear an american flag everyday. :D

take a look at my driveway. except for the old bairly running MB every one of my cars is american made, built, and bought. i can enter every window sticker and it will show it was built in America.

I'm assuming you realize that the very same people who are fighting and dying for the AMERICAN FLAG empower our nation to continue to offer freedoms to it's citizens. Freedom to wear a Communist mass murderer's image in your shirt? Sure. Freedom to question our own government? Sure. Freedom to either choose to earn your own way through your life, or else rely on subsidies paid from taxes collected from those who do for themselves? Sure.

There's only one America for a reason. We're an oddity, an oxymoron of a nation, filled with both morons and very intelligent individuals and those in-between who can be easily swayed towards either camp.

I leave it up to the rest of you in here to determine what sides of the issues you all fall on. Individual responsibility, or socialist collective? "Poor" is a state of mind. "Broke" is temporary, and you can do something about it if you are motivated enough.

Jeez, don't you think this thread is way off topic now? :D

1. I dont reley on anyone but myself and my wife to offer her emotional support. (thats right i raise a 4 person family on one income) so i pay taxes just like you.

2. My sister is serving in Iraq right now, as of this moment, so I know how people are fighting to perserve the life that i choose to live. I never said anything about the military, but if someone doesnt want to wear a lapel pin, that is their choice.

3. Voting Dem does not make you a moron and easily swayed, nor does it make me a socialist collective. again i pay taxes and recieve no help from the wonderful govt.

4. "poor" is not a state of mind, it is a state of finacial standing. I am very motivated, thats why I am going to school as well as working a full time job in a hospital so that I can provide for my family.

before you go off judging someone based off of their political beliefs, you might not want to be so condecending next time oh and Che Guevera was one of Time Magazines Top 100 Most Influential People of all Time.

So you're saying the government is supposed to be doing something for you?

I say they are - get the f*^k out of my way and stop taxing me so much!

So were Stalin, Lenin, and Hitler. What's your point?

gas strikes are very useless. FOlks will simple buy gas days before or days after.

What we NEED to do is have huge sick-outs from work in protest of gas prices. That would make a much bigger impact. But there are pros & cons to it. With little or no employees working, some businesses might need to close for the day or just have poor service output. This will affect you. But hey, I guess you can say its a sacrifice.
