well you can put them in the oven and they will seperate. But you could also just go to your local dealer or service station (even most private ones) and get a headlight restoration service, they make them look brand new, Mine cost 180 dollars, but for that price on a yukon you can get brand new ones if you shop well:thumbsup:

My 1995 Tahoe LT headlights were very "dirty" as well and I too considered removing them and cleaning them - after reading above, NO WAY - thank goodness for this forum. I just ordered some "mid-grade" (not economy, not premium) headlight replacements (item numbers GM2502101 and GM2503101) for $32.79 from http://www.rockauto.com The shipping wasn't bad either at $9.00 for UPS Ground.

I'll post again when I receive them and install them - report to follow.
