Hi all,

So i just replaced my encoder motor but prior to the changed, it seems that the tranny was laggin to shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. I thought maybe it had something to do with the encoder motor since I waited for a while before replacing it. Now that the encoder motor was replaced, the tranny is still lagging. Any help is always appreciated.

Regards,

ron

Sounds like the shift solenoid is dirty... A tranny place can do a "back flush" on the transmission... Some say that fixes the problem... I'm about to have it done on mine...
Good Luck..

Thanks for you respond olpir8, I just had it rebuilt. the tech showed me some of the parts that was defective as well as the drum was burnt plus told me that the dealer put the wrong tranny fluid (I took it in for the 100k maintenance). Now she's running like a charm although it's only been 2 days out of the shop.
