Looking for a HID conversion kit that will be going into my 2001 Tahoe.

Here are several I've been looking at, which would be the best for me to go with? Anyone have had any problems at all with any of these companies/brands/kits?

Option 1 :
- DDM Tuning HID Kit. "Apexcone 35W/55W Full Size Ballast HID Kit"
- Low Beams : 9006 - 55W - 10000K
- Fog Lights : 880 - 35W - 10000K
- Website : http://ddmtuning.com/hidkihidbuhi.html
- Good thing about what I've read about this website is that it has a life time warranty on all of their products. It's also $44.92 more than the VVME kit.

Option 2 :
- VVME HID Kit. "HID Conversion Kits - Single Beam Model "
- Low Beams : 9006 - 35W - 10000K
- Fog Lights : 880 - 35W - 10000K
- Website : http://vvme.com/catalog/list-s-10145-10146.html
- Bad thing about this company from what I've read is that the warranty is only a 14 month warranty but it's also $44.92 cheaper than the DDM Tuning kit.

Will there be a big difference for going with a 35W vs 55W in the low beams?

Thanks man. Also, should I bump down to 6000/8000K rather than 10000K? I want the most light I can get but I also want the blue tint.

How much blue did you want?

My 6000k have a slight tint of blue. (You can check out my pics in my profile).

6000k would be perfect for your color. 10k is really for looks and will be WAY to blue. If you want output with color than 6000k is what you want. But I would also go DDM, they have great customer service, are in the states, and have a lifetime warrenty.

Thanks. I just wanted enough blue to let it know that they are blue lights if you know what I mean. I think I will be going with DDM. But can anyone check out my shopping cart above and see if I have everything I need, the only change I will make is going from 10000K to 6000K.

With the 9006 HIDS I would add a wiring harness for 25 bucks. Gets rid of alot of stress on your stock wires. Scroll down to the very bottom to see it.

Would this be the correct one? The $25.00 one.

I too am looking to use a HID kit from hidkit.com however will I need to have a wiring harness, relay, and canceller or will my stock wiring harness be able to handle the HIDs?

Thank you
