I have an early LTZ that had the open cup holders and other that looks, they're much more functional than the wood grain ones w/ the door. You lose a lot of storage space.

+1000. I bought a LT cupholder off of EBAY before my LTZ arrived and I had them switched out the day I picked it up. I did the same thing for my dad with his Denali. The LTZ cupholder is completely useless.
