We have an 01 & we had HELLLL hooking up an aftermarket stere
nce we figured out you have to bypass the factory amp (otherwise the new stereo won't work) we ended up taking it to a shop & had them fix it for $100. The panel under steering wheel was just one big cluster#$%& of wires.
But we did have extra wires, and I'm sure we still did after it was fixed. My opinion, take it somewhere to have it done
