It is fairly easy as I just had mine repaired also. First of all....there is a recall on the stepper motors and if you have it repaired by a dealer it will be covered. You might check on that first. To get the dash out. First, turn your key to on , DON'T start your engine, then pull your shifter all the way down to low gear to get it out of the way. Then carefully pull on the dashboard benzel, It is just pushed in and held with spring clips and should pop off with very little persuasion. There are four small screws, two on each side, that need to be removed by using a socket and extension. ~ 8mm maybe 1/4" Then pull the dash cluster straight forward, there is one large plug in the back that pulls loose and there you are. The dash does NOT lose any data -like milage etc. If you are looking for someone to have this done, I'll get you the info on who did ours. Ours works great now !!! P.S. We found out about the recall AFTER we had ours repaired and since it wasn't done by a dealer......well......you know the rest I'm sure. Hope this helps Dave
