Thanks guys, It is a work in progress. It started as two Tahoe’s and a builders title - outside is almost done! A lot of sheet metal / glass work!
Now to start working on brake system, drive train, interior now! Never ending process but I love it.
The green flames were painted with Pearl base and fade to silver with dark silver tips. White base coat is IMERON (4X) & clear coat (3X)

99 Tahoe Lift

Here's my '99 with a 6" RCD suspension and a 2" body lift sitting on 35" Toyos. If you are planning on lifting your ride, I would highly recommend the Procomp 6" lift. That lift maintains your factory stance and will not stick your front wheels two inches like the rest of them. If you are OCD like myself, it'll drive you NUTZ! Good thing for 2inch wheel adaptors for the rear wheels. Just another recommendation, buy an extra set of wheel adaptors and have them on standby if you plan on doing any offroading. Cuz if you do break one (and your wheel goes rolling down the trail by itself for half a mile) you can put your spare adaptor on and not look rediculous driving home.:thumbsup:

That looks just like mine but mine is stock... I am looking for a lift for mine but I don't want to go that big.

mine just has a two inch lift, blocks in the back and torsion bars up front, bit of a rough ride but not to bad, would like to get a 4 or 6 inch to it,:Chevy:

i have a 96 2 door with a ProComp 6" lift on it. Sitting on 35" ProComp Xtreme M/T's. I'll get some pics of it up when i get a chance.

I plan putting a 3" body lift and possibly running the 3/4 ton torsion bars with 8" lift blocks on the back(instead of the 6"), if time and money allows.

4" spindle lift on my silverado, but its the same as the tahoe. rough country makes an AWESOME kit for it, easy to do yourself

i get around 400+ miles out of a tank of gas with 87 oct gas with the tires that are in the pics goodyear wranglers 275/65/20,im looking to to put 38'' mudders back on for the winter.it gets around the same gas millage either way ..a superchip programmer,a k&n cold air intake,a throttle body spacer,and a true duall exaust with 4'' stainless pipes where installed all at the same time.I really couldnt tell you what it would do to an all stock yukon.drives like dream.pulls excellant..............

I have been thinking about a lift kit for awhile now. My '99 has the push button 4 wheel drive and I was told that it would cost more to lift my Tahoe and there was a lot more involved in lifting vehicles equipped with this feature.

Those with lifted Tahoe's that have this type of Four wheel drive, feel free to clue me in on the info......

All matters how much of lift you want for how much it is. if your doing a body lift you have to extend wires etc. etc. If your doing a suspenion lift and drop the suspension you need to keep in mind of the drive shaft angle. Hope that helped
