Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust - 15666

I wanted to purchase the Magnaflow cat back exhaust for my 04 Z71 Tahoe and the parts store said that this kit will not fit on a Z71. Has anyone installed a magnaflow cat back on a Z71?

That is the one that I have on my Z71 Tahoe.

Did you install yourself or have it installed? Any issues with the installation?

Yep installed myself, just need a Sawzall to get the stock system off. The hangars were a bit of a pain, but after some coaxing they are good to go.

Is it recommended to also replace the cat? If I need to go to a muffler shop I might as well do the cat and muffler at the same time.

Unless you really want to spend the money, they are unnecessary. The stock cats flow just as well as aftermarket ones.
