I just bought a used 1999 Yukon on Thursday from a used car dealer. This thing appears to be in mint condition. It was a one-owner lady-driven truck; very clean and well maintained inside and out. It drove fine all weekend until this afternoon. I turned it off to run inside the house real quick and when I came back out; lo and behold she wouldn't start. All electrical works fine; the battery has plenty of juice. When I turn the the key all i get is one click from the starter shaft shooting out. I've already replace the solenoid, starter relay, and then slapped a brand new starter on it. Still nothing. I'm perplexed! I do no want to haul this thing to a garage; I prefer that to be a last resort only. Any help would be most appreciated.

Why didn't you just take it back to the dealer you bought it from? Didn't you say you just bought it last thursday? Sounds like it should be their problem not yours.

Did you shut the doors... lock it with the FOB, wait a second, unlock it with the FOB and try to start it again?

I had this happened 2 days after I got my 99 Yukon and it was a security setting. never happened again.. *knock on wood*.
