I just picked up an 08 Tahoe with oem remote starter. How does it work? No owners manual (on order).

Instructions are on the back of the remote. But what GMTech48 said is correct. Also to turn of, just click the circle.

To add to the above instruction....You have to push the lock button before the remote start button even if your car is already locked. Like walking up to it after having left it in the parking lot for a few hours...You have to push the lock button first.

And you just need to press the start button 'til the lites flash. Also you can add ten minutes to the original ten minutes by pressing the start button again after it has started.
