Phillips Nightguide

Recently my driverside low beam light went out (Sylvania) and I am looking to replace it. I came across a new, at least to me, light bulb from Phillips it's called the Nightguide. Apparently it has different focal lengths to make night vision easier. Has anyone had any experience with these bulbs...are they worth it?

I'd go with some silverstars or piaa extreme whites if you're apprehensive about getting new headlights for an hid conversion. I love my hids but you really need a projector housing to take advantage of them and not blind the hell out of everyone.
