Do you know what kind of iron used GM for OEM brake disk?

Honestly, I have no idea and I have tried to look them up without luck. So I will have to make a phone call Monday to find that out for you, but once I find out I will get back with you...

After a LOT of searching, I have yet to be able to find out more information about the grade of iron used in the OEM rotors. I have contacted several dealerships and so forth and am still looking, sorry for the long wait...:uhoh2:

stock vs. R1 rotors

I too enjoyed my stock brakes and rotors until they wore out...I looked around and found the R1 pads and rotors. I have had them on my Tahoe for 40K+ miles and they work great...just sayin
