Hi all,

I've a problem with my 2001 Tahoe. Sometimes the battery warning indicator is showing up, but nor regularly. It happens with lights on or off, with and without A/C. Voltage seems to be in 15 V range most of the time, but sometimes up to 16 V. I'm guessing for the alternator, but would eb glad for any additional idea.

Service of these models is not that easy out here in Germany...

Wilkommen Vauachtix!

Refreshing all the grounds (frame, body, battery, alternator mount) wouldn't hurt, but those usually cause an undervoltage problem. Could be that the alternator's internal regulator is going out...
