You have to take the interior panel off and remove the nuts that hold it on.

Has anyone removed the back bowtie completely? If so how hard was it to do?

Thanks,
Mark

You'll have to remove the inside plastic panel to get to the speed nuts holding it on.

So for the rear, remove the inside panel, speed nuts, and the emblem comes right off, or is there some adhesive there too?

I'm looking for someone who has done this as well. I scratched the chrome one taking the gold part off. I bought a billet aluminum one for the rear that goes on with double sided tape. I have a hard time believing that removing the tailgate plastic will show me the other side of the rear bracket. It looks like the plastic piece with the camera in it is a whole separate piece bolted to the tailgate. I hope I'm wrong.
