I have an 04' tahoe and i have a JL W7 in a H.O. box installed and it rattles the plastics in the back so bad that it is not even enjoyable to listen too. i thought about dynamat or some other cheaper substitute for dynamat but i am not sure where to apply it. do i put it on the back of the plastics or where do i put it. i would only like to spend around a $100 or so and i live in pa so constant heat is not really a problem for me. could somebody please give me some advise. thanks

you put Dynamat on the metal part of the door but if the plastic still rattles then you need to put somthing in the panel to keep a little pressure on the plastic so it wont move. what i did was go to the arts and crafts store and purchased some foam cusion material. like the stuff in your seats. its really cheap and works great just line the inside of the plastic with it and your done, its that easy.

let us know if it solves your problem
