Rear Wiper stoped working

My rear wiper motor stoped working, it started by it not moving more then 6in. and then it would stop, now it doesn't work at all. Is there anyway to test to make sure it the motor and not the switch??? Thanks for any info.

Does it make any noise when the switch is on? Sometimes mine won't move and keeps clicking until I bump the wiper arm. Oh and what exactly is ridding-dirty? The process of cleaning?

Well its a little of both I live in wisconsin and right now i have about 6in of snow and ice stuck under the yukon along with a coating of salt over it all. And in the summer it more like ridding with illegal window tint and other things the cops don't like.
